NOTES: When I wrote this, I wanted to write a lyric that was like a nursery rhyme, to get that immediacy, the short circuit that can make you remember a tune at a very intuitive level. The recorded version of this song is probably the best of my demos - it's four chords, repeating over and over but with the words and melody, it all seems to work. And yes, once again Ruth does a great job with the vocals!
